Robert Louis Stevenson wrote “Bright is the ring of words when the right man rings them, fair the fall of songs when the singer sings them.” Joe used these words to describe fellow actors/singers. Those of us that had the benefit of knowing him and experiencing his amazing talents will remember Joe as the Bright light.
A native of Kentucky, Joe directed, musically directed and/or choreographed hundreds of productions locally and nationwide. He was an instructor of voice and piano both in the classroom and out.
Joe was the resident musical director for Fantasy Forum Actors Ensemble. Through the Joe Barnett Scholarship Joe will continue to do what he did best... Inspire everyone to achieve their goals.
His bright light will continue to shine.
